Our tallow skincare products begin long before the balm is ever made — they start on a small family farm in the rolling countryside of Wisconsin.
The cattle used for our tallow are raised right here on the land by my wife's father, who continues to run the family farm largely on his own. Day after day he cares for the animals, tending the pastures, feeding the herd, and keeping the traditions of honest farming alive.
These cattle are 100% organically raised and never given vaccines, living the kind of life animals were meant to live — outdoors on pasture, grazing naturally, and cared for by someone who knows every field and fence line by heart.
From this farm comes the nutrient-rich beef tallow that forms the foundation of our skincare.
For generations, people used tallow as one of the most effective natural skin moisturizers available. Rich in skin-supporting fatty acids and vitamins, traditional tallow closely resembles the natural oils our skin produces, making it deeply nourishing and incredibly gentle.
